The headgasket/waterpump replacement has gone well and the snapped CTS is now replaced but the idle is still really lumpy.

So far i have replaced:
All CTS's,
Cleaned TB and ICV,
Cleaned and rubbed down all earths i could find including speedo.

Plus the cams were not worn, checked that when the head was off.

So any other thoughts as to what could be causing the rough idle or are renault engines just prone to a bad idle?

Thanks

are you sure the cams not worn? Did you use a dial gauge to check?

What were the rockers like? worn concave?
