My injection pump is leaking diesel from around the stop solenoid (amoung other places) The hyanes manual reckons I need a new rubber ring around it when I take it would. I was planning on just reusing it with some sealent. Can I get away with that? (Not very high pressure pumps are they?)

Cheers

depends what you define as high pressure, its a damn sight more pressure thna say the petrol 16V's system pressure on the pressure side.

But feedign the main pump isn't much pressure.

They are normally copper washers used to seal the solenoid.
