Can someone please tell me if the sunroof unit is the same on phase 1 and phase 2 r19s? Will the phase 1 glass fit a phase 2?
Mines smashed (phase 2), and Ive been offered a phase 1 glass. I thought i read somewhere that the phase 1 sunroof is different (doesnt tilt, only slides) or something.
Or am I, once again, talking straight out of my arse? |

You are partially correct. The early phase 1 sunrooves only slid - the later ones and all the p2s tilt and slide.

the glass itself should be the same, though I'm not 100% sure. pre '92 (actually mid 1991) ph.I had a slide-back sunroof only, all other R19 had the tilt and slide ones.

Dialogys says they're different i'm afraid altho that could just mean the tint shade or something |

My H plate Hatch had proper electric sunroof. The glass from the 'tilt' sunroof is different. |
