is it possible to fit a supercharger after the throttle body? would save a lot of space on the packaging front.

Aye, you can and they do. Most of those big american v8's are like that

No possibility of chargecooling tho so not ideal for a 'little' 4 pot 2 litre

Yes its possible.

benifits are no risk of bending the throttle spindle, also if you fit an injector before the blower or water injection etc boost will be higher and not any hotter due to better sealing in the blower.

Not possible with wasted spark set ups which means a no no on new cars.

Most V8's production we are talking here, that goes for jag's, fords and so on run with the plate(s) before the supercharger and the charger sits in the Vee of the engine. So most run no form of chargecooling.

Not got a clue Chetty boy.

A screw blower, these are efficient and small.

Mount it vertically in the front of the engine into a manifold and thats you done.

Drive it off an additional pulley (toothed belt) or you could get a longer serpentine effort but I would choose the toothed belt route. A dry sump pulley woudl be ideal for instance.
