if he's saying that you need to change the whole lot to lower the car then he's talking rubbish.

you can lower it by 35 - 40 mill by using springs on the front and lowering the torsion bar.

if however you just want to buy the lot fo another reason then there are loads to choose from:

Koni, Spax, Bilstein (I use them on my 19), AVO, faulkner, Gmax..ect. The list goes on.

you would still have to lower the torsion bar though to drop the rear end.

also springs will be the cheapest option coz sometimes you may have to have her re-tracked aswell so thts going to cost you aswell, depends how much money u want to burn on it

Gmax are a budget setup, they will be better than your stock set but their not as good as Koni, Spax or Bilstein. IMO.

that quote is good depending on your age mate.

Koni are regarded as the best by most people tbh.

I'm unsure as to what car your running but I would get the 16v suspention anyway (I.E Koni 19 16v suspention, just to make it clear). (that's if you've only got a 1.4 or something)

Good quote

go to leda www.leda.com get your dampers and springs there. you do not need a strut bace for the road fact if you do you shouldn't have a driving licence, yes I know they were fitted on the 19 16v and the clio 16v but that was for two reasons Germany and homologation for racing.

imo koni are not as good as they are cracked up to be leda are far superior.
