job done...all went well...so far so good but ill be happy after ive got a few morning cold starts out of the way before i say its cured....
job took about 3.5 hrs, thats including tea breaks and taking rain into account....bloody rain....got my big plastic sheet up and over the car...altho i forgot it is covered in oil so i got an oily car after it flapped about like mad in the wind... |

I have a big blue tarpaulin I got from George which I use, I cable tie it to the bonnet hinges and the tow hook.
cable ties are dirt cheap from Aldi/Lidl so you don't mind chopping through them. |

i did once decide to put it over the bonnet as usual and then from the top of the bonnet onto top of garage...and then put bricks on it on the roof of the garage...was good, made a total working area bewteen car and garage...until the wind got up and i only just got the bricks in time before the sheet whipped them off and onto my head! |

errr...unless u missed my post i did do it this weekend...lol...without the aid of guiness...seems to have sorted it out...nice n quiet now, but i aint gunna hold my breath |
