Got everything back in order on the chammy and took it out for its first spin with the chip passed through Neo.

Just starting to have fun, the car feels really fast through all gears except 2nd. There was a definate flat spot in the middle of the rev range in second gear.

Then 10 minutes in and the car died, just stopped. Tried bumpping it in 2nd as I was coasting with no joy. When my support car (wife in golf) caught up I tried jumping it with no luck. Sad

Gonna have a play with it today see if we can find a problem Rolling Eyes

Are you getting ignition lights etc ?

Also, check this, ignition on, watch the immob warning light, it should flash then go solid. this indicates the immob has been disarmed, if it continues to flash then there is an ECU fault.

if its flashing try resetting the ECU and then 'plip' the doors.

Also when i did the chip on your ECU, i put a socket on first, so if do have an ECU fault you can whip it out of the car and refit the original chip very easily, just make sure you insert it the correct way round, look for a half circle cut into one end of the chip and match it to the half circle printed on the circuit board.
