Parked my car in the local hospital carpark. AND came out to this mess.

The carpark supervisor said that he didnt know why this old git decided to reverse into the car parking space by the side of me as the car park was half empty!!

Hes made a right mess of the passengers rear door and it looks like an insurance job on his part.

The Car park supervisor said he witnessed the whole thing and if he hadnt had stopped him he would have just drove off!!

So this is yet another job and problem to be solved.

Col

P.S. It is worse than the pictures show!

Not nice thing to happen.

Right

Just got in from the car repairs shop.

Prices as follows:

County Coach Builders £800+

Vauxhall/ Renault £500+

Local Car Shop £483.19

Local Car Shop £490.00

They all reckon a new door has to be fitted!!

Just been on the phone to the dithering fool and he sounds as drunk as a skunk!! Says he cant afford it so i will have to go through his insurance.

The local bady shop said that if this was the case they can instruct their solicitors free of charge to re-coup the costs of the damage, my excess and the cost of a courtesy car against his insurance!! Laughing

But i was wondering wether to go through my insurance and if they write it off to just say no, accept the money for the repairs and keep the car...

Ill Have to think about it.

STUPID FOOL.

they should be taken off the road at 60 and given a free 4 wheeled scooter limited to 5 miles an hour, and only be allowed to drive on designated cycle tracks!! Then again they would probably crash into a parked cyclist Laughing

Insurance company will probably write it off and give you a crap payout, why not get £300 or soo off the old bugger (probably not more then his excess) and hang around until a burgandy door comes along at a scrappies?

Take the door card off and see if it will push out a bit, won't be as good as new but still.

Once things are broken they are never the same again Sad

sod that, get the fecking thing written off buy it back, will cost you about 100 quid to buy it plus you get the book value in your hands. Then get another door or push it out.
