Applied for my car loan yesterday so I'll be going to look at the GTIs out of these

Yeah its about 5 mins away, we never deal with them tho

He deals alot in repaired motors afaik, thats not to say thats been damaged tho

wasnt it the 'Grand' edition that had the bigger bumpers that looked a bit more imposing? what do the 206gti's go like then overall? Theres a 180bhp version that sounds like it would go well, but never driven one or been in one so would be interested?

the clios a far better car than the 206. The pugs a pretty heabvy beast as well. i don't like them.

How do they compare to a 19 Valver? Not as quick/As quick/Quicker?

19 is a medium sized family hatch/saloon. the 206 is an overweight shoppung trolley.

if you knwohow to drive the 19 then a 206 will not be faster.

Punto's I woudl avoid, to many memories of weekly sump changes etc.

Weak sumps? The HGT uses the alfa 156 bottom end, dunno if thats a good thing or not..

they normally last 1/2 years before they rust out.

All fiat sumps are kept in stock at main dealers.

roads aren't salted over here so rust underneath isn't such a big thing but it's something I'll keep an eye out for in service histories and if I go looking at any cheers Chris.

they don't, roads over here are shit. They do salkt them on icey nights during the winter but not on a regular basis.

i did notice how good roads suddenly turned into potholed tracks, mostly down the west side tho........
