 Timing marks on the F3P 8v engine

hi all Wink

iv been doing a rebiuld on a clio rsi engine for my 19 and im putting it all back together but i cant seem to find a timing mark for the bottom pully to line up with, take a look at the pics, am i right in thinking the top is ok, it only the bottom that needs lining up now.

The notch on the bottom pulley lines up roughly with the centre of that big square splodge on the plastic surround. Fair play, does look nice in silver Very Happy

bloody hell, that engine looks mint, you sure its not a brand new one? Wink

Yeah youve got it basically, but the cambelt itself will have white lines on it to line up with the timing marks on the pulleys. Just line them up and youre sorted.

its lined up fine in the picture, the cambelt will line it up or pop a driver down the plug hole.
