Thats the joys of enclosed rear beams, only the outer is exposed, the inside is spotless, the outers need a bit of work sometimes.

I got lots of pics etc of the job and I will do that guide eventually. Will need to do a decent one on the open bar beams as well.

I will give you the trade secrets of the job since I like you, no wait thats not right... Mr. Green

trade secrets, pah, spray it with loads of WD40 or that Rost Off stuff, try the socket and bolt method, if not use a slide hammer, if you can get one out, shove a bit of bar down there and belt it out from the other side, if not then give up?

I can do that on my clio too, I do have to take the bottom bolt out of the damper tho'

I never used any form of lube to do this and when I sort the pics out you will see how bad the nearside was!

this is the nearside after i scraped it out, thats why theres a flake in the bolt hole
