well so far ive ported the inlet manifold, set the plug gaps, relocated the airfilter, stripped out the back seats etc, checked the brakes, topped up pas fluid, water. and changed the oil.

heres some pics of some of what i have done...

how many bends in that ducting for the IK?

that needs to be as straight as possible for good airflow

remove the headlight and have the ik there with a nice straight pipe for when its on the track.

neo whats the point? they argue all day that it doesn't affect induction length which it does

i know it affects it.

its not getting anywhere near as much heat as it was, but still, the sound is awesome!

I'd concentrate on properly preparing the car Dan, as in tyre pressures, checking brakes all round (pads/free movement, full operation and maybe changing fluid), nut and bolt check and all of the car, and a safety check (belts/harnesses, seat secure, pedals secure etc etc)

im smooth with the gear changes, its done a few track outings already.

im going to run around 24-26 psi in the tyres, last ime it was sliding everywhere!

You should get more gain against the clock with breaks an tyres than you will with engine power gain from the air fillter.
