Hey guys, was just wanting ur opinions on what would be a good set of tyres to get for me 19 16v. Someone has said to me that the Pirelli P5000 Drago tyres are good, and I've found them for something like £136 for a set of 4 so that seems rather good?

Anyone recommend another make of tyre? Don't just wanna go out and get the Pirelli's after one person has said they're good like, would rather a few more opinions

Cheers

Yeah go for the T1-S Toyo's, have come down in price since the T1-R's have come out.

T1-S's are still damn good tyres.

So are the T1-S's any good in the wet? They haven't got that channel thing that some tyres have down the middle to get rid of water like. Dunno what tyres I've got now, but it's like drivin an oil rig in the wet!

*thinks*......how do you drive an oil rig?? hmm....

yeah that price does seem pretty legend. Might give 'em a go then, unless anyone tells me otherwise before I get round to buying 'em

problem is with tyres is that there is so much speculation and "hear say". the only proper way is try them. if they are good and suit you, keep them. if not, wait a few month till the are illegal and try something else. suck it and see....
