theres pone down the road, its been there for years, c plate or g plate, cannae mine. In decent enoguh nick though.,

Anyway it was used up to a couple of years ago, then they got a punto and its just sat there ever since.

So do I consider getting it or just leave it?

If you can get it free or for pennies, then yeah, course!

But you need somewhere to put it... always the problem Sad

Laughing Rolling Eyes

i dunno if I get it it and dependign on whats wrong with it a 1.8 T lump might fall into it.

Its not as popular for modding like the golf is.

i always liked th elook of them.

Although that 8v mk2 golf I had was utter crap, snapped the crank on the fecker which fell out onto the motorway Rolling Eyes

I'm sure you're aware of the cost of swapping a 1.8T lump in tho!

I have to say i do like the mk2's but 90% of them drive like shit. Worth silly money now too

get it! drop either the 20V T lump in or a nice little G60 unit from the abundance of pranged corrados! My mate is really into his VW's [got the G60 rallye i go on about] i can see the appeal and I think the scirroco is ultra retro cool!!!

I mean about using the original instrument cluster etc for the immob if you want to use its own ECU, other than that its down the custom ECU road

Bumper,
Slam Panel,
Grill,
Bonnet,
Radiator,
Wings,
and front doors LOL

was left in a yard over night, came back one morning and all this had been taken!

nah rog, tbh if the engine was ok then chances are it would be left as is.

1.8's iirc

Its in great nick, its sat there for a few years now, used to see it get driven until they got a punto, why i know not!

Get the Rocco Chris, looks quite tidy and very retro, tho not sure it'd be worth much - seems like its only low mileage late spec Corrado's get get any decent money.
