The cabriolet has been hiding my my brothers garage for a while and he decided to take it for a run the other day to find it started fine from cold but once stopped and tried to restart it acted like the battery was flat however once left to cool she was fine to go again Confused is it possible the starter motors getting too warm as I know it doesn't have the heatshield on or is it something more drastic?

I had this, turned out to be a simple earth problem. Popped on a new earth and she now starts better than ever cold and actually starts hot without hassle.

earth problem sounds easy to spot, I'll just get him to earth it with a jump lead next time its warm and see if it starts, I'll let you know if it works although not sure when it'll be out next.
