What would be most plausible, headgasket or something else?

Hi guys, I got a little demotivated today when i found my car smelled of coolant when i turned her of at my work. So i popped the hood and found out it's leaking coolant behind the block right down were the earthstrip is located near the battery. After topping her up and driving her home (4 mile trip) i again smelled the coolant so went looking a bit better and she was quite wet and even dropped coolant on the drive, although she hadn't lost much coolant about 2mm or so. What could be causing this prob headgasket i asume? or could it be something else there? I am pretty sure it's coming from the block. But i can't see the actual beginning of the leak :S

theres three big core plugs in the back of the block, sounds more like one of those is leaking to me...

I really can't see the exact origin been lying on the block for 15 minutes with 2 flashlights to find out, what i can see is the the corner of the block distri side is brownish from coolant as far as i can see telling me it has been leaky for more than a month because that's the time i changed the coolant and flushed the system and what's in it now is still blue/green.

Were are the coreplug located exactly in the head or the sump? (sorry for not knowing, haynes don't help either Sad ) And does the head need to come off if it's a coreplug that's leaky?

The core plugs are in the block.
