Whats going on Outside?

They are ripping this building down on the bank of the Thames. It is next to my work, (Photo from 3rd Floor) and they have just lifted the biggest metal crate I have ever seen onto the roof of this 15 floor building from a lorry in the road, and didnt even close the road off underneath! They have massive drills taking the building down from the roof and the old JCB's up there with the claw attachment pulling the structure apart. No bad but

The building underneath is still open and is the local Fire department, would you feel safe working there?

Health and Safety is joke.

I have to carry out a full 2 page risk assessment just to change a domestic 60W bayonet cap light on the site I work.

Same at a lot of sites though. Having the piece of paper doesn't make the job inherently safer, just means the company can't be held to account if owt nasty happens.
