ok nothing terribly exciting, just normal wing flex when you land, but pretty cool!

Impressive aint it, no wonder people get shitted up on planes when thye look out the window and see that. Phenomenal forces going through the central wingbox...

You should see the flex on the wings of a glider during normal flight, never mind manoeuvres! Shocked

its surprising how many peopel think everything is rigid, if it was rigid it would break off.

Normal wing deflection on a B52 apparently is 15-20 feet.

Yep, scary, those were the days before FEA computer modelling working out if the design would break as well!

I wanna know how the guy got to film that since every plane I've been on in recent history tells you to turn off every and anything electrical.

Total utter tosh. Computer decks on larger aircrafts have silly amount of electrical goings on, use of electrical goods on aircraft WILL NOT cause it to fall from the sky, or make radar not work etc. Utter tosh.

I think most people find it frightening because they must think of air being static or something.

Best thing I've had was landing and you could actually feel the plane 'hoping' from each turbulent airstream on the way down, kinda like skimming a stone over a lake. You could see the wings jolted on each hop as well. I just wanted to scream "We're all gonna die!!!!" but with the reprisal these days being arrested with Anit Terror laws and being shot with 50K Volts kinda takes the fun out of it....

Again pish. Why have BMi just announced there gonna trial letting people use mobiles on their trans atlantic routes? And who the fuck is stupid enough to think a mobile phone is going to work 30,000 feet up in the air???

Edit: The reason you can't use a radio is incase of interference with the crafts radio, nothing to with the fact that radiowaves are going to somehow magically screw up the electrical systems Rolling Eyes
