hi

Just been messing about with the wiring under the central console. Theres 3 bunches of wires which i am assuming are for the front heated seats. These are useless as i dont have them.....

However i was thinking.. are they still live and fused even though there not in use??

See pics

If there live then wouldnt it be possible to wire up my neons {when i get them} to these wires and install the switches on the central console rather than mess around installing my own looms??

regards

Just find one thats a permanent or switched live (depending on what you want) and connect them up to that.

I had my phone kit powered off one of those spare connectors

Cheers Chet.

Just one problem mate.. Im crap with electrics!!

For example: I decided to install spot lights in our spare room, got the wiring prods out to see what was live etc. the red sleeve's had fallen off the wires.............. To cut a long story short whilst checking i fell off the step ladder, which caused the 2 prods to meet and blew every fuse in the house!!!!

THATS WHY I POSTED THE PICS !!! Laughing

Yellow: Earth
Blue/Black: Switch Live

Orange: Permenant Live
Blue: Neutral
Yellow/ Green: Earth
Black: Switch Live
