......before i was posting in here!

So i come out of work in thursday jump in the car and it won't start. Turning over fine but just not catching. Eventually got it going but for the first few minutes it was running very rough (almost like it was out of petrol or something) and then when i get it in the next morning exactly the same thing happened. Had an oil and filter change and new plugs which seem to cure it but then it does it again this morning. Fuel pump primes fine, plenty of petrol, no water in with the plugs, no crap in with the oil and plenty of water still in the resevoir so im ruling out the head gasket, so what else could it be?

The joys of second hand car ownership, why do i bother.

Yeah i know people have asked this before but rather than me spending ages doing a serach and then sifting through all the results to find what im after i thought it would be quicker and easier if someone just posted it instead?

When i reconnected the plug a wirring sound started, would this be the auxilary water pump? And why the hell would it be unplugged?

Cheers

Why would it be unplugged though? Although i must admit it didnt sound too healthy!

Ok time for another irritatingly drawn out forum search to find a picture of the temp sensor.

The only thing im concerned about it that if it doesnt turn off as it should and drains the battery coz that will piss me off the next morning!
