well tonight I lowered a mk2 clio.

I done it in 1hour 15 mins whilst blabbing to Alan. Not bad for lowering a whole car!

backs done in the pics, but this is the front pre lowering

rear lowered, doesn't look that low but compared to before its a lot better.

new front lowering spring on

front springs, new lowering is the red one stock is the black one, 30mm lowering springs

About 10 mins after they left I sold the black exec!

i love lowering the mk2 clios, such easy work! ive got it down to doing it in an hour now,(providing the passenger strut comes undone easily enough!) ive done quite a few now lol!

yeah its piss easy dan, but I had to talk to those 2, it would have been done in halfan hour, rear wheels don't need to come off or anything, piss easy

brilliant set up on the back imo, jack it up, 18mm bolts on the bottom of the shocks off they pop and in with the new! love not having to remove the wheels for it!

I never bothered jacking it up until I wanted the spring out, much easier.

The new springs were a doddle as they were so much shorter.

the best bit was th elack of rusty bolts tbh!

the passenger strut i always find a bastid to undo, always siezed, and ive broken numerous allen keys!

I use a halfords pro 6mm 3/8th's socket, never had a problem with it, although I have burst the top of a few damper pistons with it

the passenger one on this had a worn bearing but the drivers side was fine, thought i would mention it
