don't you just hate it when you have to rely on an outside source to do work on something in order for you to progress with the job.

Last night removed the hub carrier from the prima so the new bearign could be put in.

So removed it cleaned it up, removed the hub flange, binned the contents of the ould bearing, ground off the inner race from the hub flange so all thats needed is the old bearing cage pressed out and the new bearing pressed in then the hub flanged pressed into that.

So go to my MOT man and theres only the 2 of them in today so I have to go back and collect it later.

About 2pm or so.

Still its cheap to what some of you pay. Get the bearing for 15 quid and it pressed in for a fiver.

Will get shot of the droning hopefully and will refit the old track rod end to try and get some steering control back.

yep a right pain in the rear but even more so when it comes to the dvla sorting there crap, i have to have a VIC check done on my car which could take a month for the application to be processed pluss it needs a bit of a spray job, and when the weather lets you down its even more of a pisstake

weathers a major prob, sunny glasgow is never siunny its always rainign and it holds up work a lot.

DVLA too are very crap, couldn't organsize a piss up in a brewery.

when ones purchasing another vehicle. Just to make sure the cars real basically.

I got my hub carrier and new bearing now, need to wait for the beasts brakes to cool.

that to JB, they are bad boys them! lol

Fitted it and it got rid of 1 noise, the rest are fecked to.
