Just lookin at cams cuz I'm bored, and everywhere seems really expensive compared to k-tec

http://www.needforspeed.co.uk/pages/sbv_pl.asp?Vehicle=RN_1901&PartType=CAM02

http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=310

I understand that the ones at BB Performance & Need for speed are 'proper' ones from known manufacturers like piper, and they also both have kent cams too........and k-tec make their own I assume.

So own brand cams........kinda like tesco value cams? lol. Well surely not cuz they are a renault tuning company? Gotta be good surely?

£504.43 on need for speed, £538.15 at BB, and then only £223.25 at k-tec

Confused

Yeah but there is only £34 difference between the piper cams at BB and need for speed, the k-tec ones are a different product.

I spoze £34 difference is daft for the same thing tho yeah. But when it costs over £500 in the first place, it doesn't really seem like much of a difference does it

Well, it seems maybe k-tec aren't the cheapest after all!!

Just spoke to 'em now and that price is for re-grinds. They send 'em to piper to get 'em re-ground.

Their website gives the impression that they're new cams tho Rolling Eyes grrr

K-tec are crap.

For example - "we can gas flow your 8v head for only £250ish"

I email them to see about this and....

"it will cost you £650 odd"

Um... No Rolling Eyes
