Dont worry , mine did same & after speaking to chris h new ciclip fitted within 1hr / 1-1/2hr & back on the road . check the knowledge base .

If you dont need the tacho stalk can I nick it pls as to reset the ABS warning light you have to press & twist the stalk & my mates ragtop 16v has a snapped one (typical)

OK I changed the easy mount by the gearbox but how the hell do you do the one under the alt.
Is it a case of having to strip half the crap out of the engine bay because I cant seem to get a 16mm span ...

I had to replace the diff circlip over the w/e & as part of that I had to drain the gearbox, if this is the same then I did it with a standard socket.
