hello everybody... my names leon... ive owned my clio 16valver for a month now.. was in love with them ever since i was a young boy.. im only 19 years old..so my dream to own one.. i fount a j plate williams blue ( i think ) with working oil gauges and with 17's on it and on adjustables after a thorough inspection it passed the approval with no real excessive or worrying oil leaks... its estimated lowered 100mm (estimate but more than one person have quoted it ).. had a full stainless steel exhuast aswell.. got it for £400 reflecting the electrics were not working..no headlights working.. no passenger seat.. no oil gagues lights working.. wheel bearing needing looking at, little sign of bubbleing on passenger side arch and generally looked like someone had emptied a skip inside. sorted it all now... oil gauge lights work..all interior lights work. wheel bearing replaced, pipercross induction kid + oil breather pipe, passenger seat replaced (£30 from a clio breaking round my area). so everythings sorted. iv posted some photos below.. hope u enjoy them.. hope to speak to some more avid reno fans!.. may post some 5turbo questions.. my brother owns a c plate one dry stored for the past 10 years.

looks nice mate. If it were me I would probably raise the rear and put some 15's on there though so that it would feel a little better to drive.

17s look good but they knacker ur car always replacing suspension and transmission parts, raise the back so its level with the front, torsion bar easy to do, and cut them cable ties! nice clean engine u have there:)

Looks to be nice and clean, got any before pics so we can see the sort of work you have put into it?

It's too low for my liking, but if you like it like that then who is anyone to tell you different.
I once lowered a vw sirroco 100mm (in my youth lol) and it was a right pig to drive, soon raised it up again to a -35mm drop heh

Tom, lets put it this way, i would not ever buy another Sirocco if they was the only car left to buy, now the Mk2 Golf GTi, i would have another one of those any day of the week!
