car goes no where near the limiter at top wack.


he did not get to 210kmh/130mph ,check the picture carefully

190km/h is the normal top speed of these cars

Georges Clio after I done headwork nearly clipped th elimiter in 5th a few times. I managed to get my 1.4 19 up to nearly 140 down a massive hill once.

Stu, Geo and me going to blackpool we were sitting a ton 10 most of the way with the occasinal burst to 120.

actually ive never tried to get full speed, there are always speed cameras Sad

but if i tried long enugh 100 wud pop up Smile

the old dash! was totaly broken because of sun, too much heat, and thats why i have changed the dash Wink Wink

I saw one but than again it may have been a left hooker but I have seen one and touched it to.

Positive it was a rhd car.

Switches are also different by the looks of them to phase 2.

those phase 3 swoopy dash switches do match the leccy window switches on our UK phase 2s though... bloody Renault... a bit of consistency would be nice.

I can understand them not wanting to tool up for a whole RHD dash, but they could at least have given us those switches!

i wonder if the plugs / connectors match the uk phase 2 switches . .

maybe we could persuade srr over there to send over some (after paying him of course thru paypal or similar)

i can get brand new ones from a source but cant see any point really

i dont know the prices mate ,i was thinking i can buy some brand new ones from turkey with a few other things when i go back in april/may .

can ask my mate in istanbul for the prices though ,he has got a 2000 renault 19 with the 1.6 megane engine and has got the swoopy dash and all .

I have found some on ebay germany.
only £3.80 at the mo for the full set and £5 postage so may take a risk and get those.

there is also a swoopy dashboard for sale but of course it's LHD so no use to me.
