Bollocks, on all points.

Saxo has different gear ratios to give it a quicker 0-60 where the 106 will hammer it everywhere else

Fuel Delivery Injection

lol i dont know where that place got those figures from but if you had any brain matter you would see going on the power and weight of the car that 12.5 -60 is quite simply...well wrong lol

i read through the rest of that info and they get other stuff wrong too like, top speed, manu book figure is 140mph, they say its got rear drums, it has rear disks, the 12.5 is more likely a time the 1.6e 8v coupe would get

PS i dont own a saxo lol, which confirms to me that you must be lacking something between your ears on two accounts.

a) thinking a car with 140bhp that weighs 1135kgs would be 12.5 to 60 Laughing

b) possessing the inability to read Laughing

the leons black, with regards to chet,

No gear ratios are needed, i can tell you 100% they are the same part number, so will haev the same ratios, and come out of the same factory. Both cars have even been independantly timed the same.

i even compared it against my mates VTS and guess what, all the gears at the speed and rpm were the same

Erm i think you'll find i never pointed any bollocks in your general direction

How can 2 parts from different manufacturers have the same part number? It doesn't work like that, even when then are basically the same car

Comparing gear ratios like that is as accurate as timing 0-60 on a sundial

yes i understand my methods of comparing arent the most accurate, they just make sense.

Citroen and pug order there parts from the same factory, they definatly both have the same part number, i ordered countless parts from citreoen for example that all came in peugeot stamped wrapping, and vice versa, thats the way it works with citroen and pug, both manufacturers are owned by the same company etc

Gear ratio pug 106 gti

1. 3.42
2. 1.95
3. 1.36
4. 1.05
5. 0.85
Final Drive: 3.94

Gear ratio saxo vts

1. 3.42
2. 1.95
3. 1.36
4. 1.05
5. 0.85
Final Drive: 3.94

Consensus is pug weighs more and get tested with a full tank to give a slower 0-60 time to get a lower rated insurance group to appeal to a wider range of ages, hence the group 13 insurance group to the vts 14, Evo mag tested these two a few years back with a 0.1 of a difference, which was put down to dynamics

who gives a shizzle though, i wouldnt buy either..
