sorry mate, i'm in a bastard of a mood, shouldn't have snapped at you!

any the pedal is 19 as is the bushes and block, you need a clio pedal only.

Well the clutch cable has fecked again. This time the problem was to do with the bit of rubber that goes through the metal eye on the gearbox bellhousing. The rubber seems to have deformed and was pulled through the eye; the net result being an inability to select gears due to the lack of effort being put into disengaging the clutch from the gearbox.

Got me a new genuine Renault cable and pedal assembly, just got to pick up a pedal stop which has been ordered in for me to arrive tomorrow, hopefully Clio will be back on the road again this time tomorrow, and fully cured of her clutch cable gripes!

wh7y do you need apedal stop? whats wrong with the new one thats on it?

i want it back when you remove it.

Aye no prob mate.

Don't know why I got the stop, little bloke on the counter said I need to use a new one with it and I figured for what it costs then I may as well just renew the lot and be done with it.

Well not that it's of any significance, but the beast known as the 'White Elephant' was sold about 3 weeks ago.

Sold for £800 with 6 months MOT and virtually no tax (week left on it at best!)

Not bad.

Bring on a new motor!

hey coopahstar_83 can i ask how you cleaned up the "velium" chamber? (if thats what its called.... )
