lower rad mounts by 100mm
fit driveshafts
fit new track rods (R&L)
finnish engine loom

should be up and running this week

then once its up and running (and ive got some cash!) i will be buying wilwood 4-pots, and a air/liquid oil cooler (ive ditched the standard renault liquid/liquid one as its crap....VERY crap....more inaffective than crap!)

to lower it 100mm like I said you'll need to cut the cradle and it won't be happy!

Vegan tune? Non meat eating tuner?

Oil coolers aren't to dear matey. How you gonna plumb it in?

im shifting it forwards aswell chris, so im only removing an inch thick "strip" along the length of the existing cradle to give clearance. the use thinnish flat bar to make a new, lower, cradle welded in place. its gonna be easy enough and wont effect the structure of the subframe.

oil can sort an oil cooler out easy engough for peanuts, as for plumbing it in just the usual sandwich plate and nice swaged fittings....maybe even "aeroquip".

Vegantune is the company i work for...name is from a commet that passed over years ago or something. a very well established company in its day....suprised you havnt heard of them. Lotus specialist mainly (but also caterham)....had their own Lotus twin cam engines...fully developed using in-house components. even made their own 16v engine...only 3 made, ever, and it was banned from the series cos it was too powerful!

lol and an update....had it on the rollers for only 2hours....which wasnt enough time. the rollers i was using were a demo set brought round by a friend who is a rep for Dyno-dynamics. i got a little bit of mapping done but like i said there just wasnt enough time. on top of that the oil temp was soaring...probably due to the cheap oil i had for running in...ive just got an air:liquid cooler, but ivec ome home for 3 wks for xmas, so havnt had time to fit it.

im back in work on the 9th jan, so i'll hopefully have it mapped not long after that. in the mean time im tempted to source some wilder cams!
