this maybe a long shot, but can i ask for donation of bits here? ideally, need a drivers seat, ph1 style, good nick, otherwise a good nick passenger side seat, as i am really hacked off that i dumped my old ph1 interior after it didnt sell on ebay for anything at all, so i could have kept the passenger seat if i hadknown i was gonna get that red one! might need a couple of other little bits and bobs too, know more when i get time to have a good look over it, i only really want it to drive about as i am making the the black one into as near a minter as possible.
cheers in anticipation,
Baz
p.s., if i can get this one up and running proper, should be able to get to some meets sooner

needed :-
1) indicator/headlight stalk (got a phase 2 on at the minute, doesnt always work right tho),
2) drivers seat, (might go for the two tone leather set on ebay, jazz it up lovely and will encourage me to bring it up nice then),
3) head gasket and cam belt (i know i will probably have to get these new so if anyone knows the cheapest place to get them, be appreciated)
4) mirrors, ( in red of course )
would like but not vital :-
1) instrument dash, (half of the lights are out, and the display is leaking and very dark, bulb i know)
2) wheels, (i have black steels on at moment, looks very street racerish at present and i have the alloys in the shed i could put on if im keep XIX's original standard alloy's as i think the general feeling is i shouldnt put the replacement alloys on it)
3) sunroof doesnt work ( i dont mind putting another on it as i know how its done now, having done XIX's)
4) clutch (pretty sure this has almost gone, if anyone has a half used/ 3/4 left of useage, be grateful)
my thinking is that if i can do this as cheap as possible, without compromising on quality, my other half could have it, but i guess she wont, or more than likely, sell to a club member for a very resonable sum (keeping it in the retro club!)
cheers as always chaps!
p.s. will update when its had a thorough going over, and will post some pics soon before and after clean-up! |

i have sent a bonnet through the postal system before.
basicly you can book a PO courier online and parcel force come round and pick it up
But its not something i can arrange at the mo, as i work in london and live 40 miles away in southend, so i am out of the door at 6am and get home around about the same time. |

ok, well, that would be good, hang onto it for now, will be rounding up what i need (if everyone has what i need) then MOT it, so i can take it out and get the bits for it!
just making sure i can get as much as i need for feck all, then it would be worth, doing as i can spend money on tax and insurance, then the one bit of bodywork that needs doing, otherwise i dont think it be worth it.
cheers!
