drillied oilway around the fuel pump etc, the drilled oil ways in the head have ball bearings knocked into them to seal the oilways

Same size in which way? The roof is lower on the Meg ports.

i been told again flying blind atm that on a turbo motor it works better when the inlet ports are bigger than the exhaust ports, but on the 16v head both sides are quite big i dont no how big each side is in relation to each other, next question is, is it true and if so can i get anything done like JB welds ect?

all the megane heads I have seen have had identical exhuast ports to the 1.8's.

yay progress i got my core plugs today (forgot one Rolling Eyes ) fitted and painted in aswell

they are

77 03 075 218 (small one by oil filter)
77 03 075 219 (one behind P/S bracket)
77 03 075 169 (one at top of the block)
77 03 075 009 (three at the back)
77 03 075 214 (one on gearbox side)

all cost £16.57

need another 77 03 075 214 to have them all done

just getting small parts from renault atm as im in no rush.. looking for a new water pump also... and into having my drivetrain balanced anyone got a price?

my meg head has different ex ports to the 1.8s too

they look round while 19 one look like they been squashed
