Have you stuck in on GTI-6 forums mate? Always folk after em there, only place you'll sell it, bit specialist for a dealer really, not sorta thing folk look at and think oh thats nice when there wandering past, prob look and think oh look another 306 HDI lol

You are right tho but lots of stuff here is oddball so it normally sells. Problem with them is the insurance cost / performance factor. Fater car can be had for the same money

I've not found em bad in insurance, for me its 399 quid fully comp, my old 172 cost 600 but the 6 would run rings round it on a twisty road, has vastly better steering and feedback, not as quick to 60/70 mind. There are faster cars for the cash tho but 6 isn't all about speed, its an absolute riot to hustle and provides you with so much feedback that you can go sideways on roundabouts with ease, I've not driven owt else thats as fun to drive as the 6, including going sideways in a Clio V6 on track lol

Not planning on driving it full ball round the ring tho, too scary!

Insurance is silly over here tho, i know someone paying 5k (3.5ukÂ£) on a 1.4 mk4 golf!

Sideways in a mk2 isn't half as scary as in a mk1 lol but still means imminent crash lol I felt pretty good with myself about holding a slide for like .5 of a second in the V6, then an instructor took me out and held it in big power slides for ages which bought me back to reality that I'm not a D1 drift champ lol

Ouch on the insurance front tho, thats madness!

Maybe it doesnt need insurance if it's not on the list, have you thought of that?
