I was driving in Ireland last year, that was pretty cool. seemed like there was a lot going on, plus the obvious lack of language barrier (mostly!  ) |

I suppose it comes down to money - how much are you wanting to spend?
£200 will get you to just over the edge of Europe.
£400 goes to US West coast, most of the far Far East, Some of Africa, Top of South America, India etc.
£600 includes Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, South America etc.
Bear in mind the cost living (as a tourist) in each country.
Also think about this - Cheap flight + high living cost vs. expensive flight + cheap living cost.
