Thanks for the advice, but i've worked for a car audio company for nearly 6 years. I'm not doing the dynamat just for the sounds, im also doing it to reduce road noise. Dynamat was actually invented by a HOT rod enthusiast and managed to find its way into car audio.
Power caps are a complete waste of time on small set ups, its just peoples perception that they need them if running multiple amps. Its all about UPRATING the alternator! If you can't charge the battery faster than you're drawing power out... well....its not rocket science to work out.
0 gauge cable is ok, but i plan on running down 2 4awg wires instead, not too keen on distribution boxes etc.
I've got some pictures of demo cars we did for some max power shows a few years back, i'll try up load them.
