Ok lads, as you should know im no whiz when it comes to cars.
My problem is to do with starting the little bugger, as many of you will know the clutch went a few months ago, and not having the skills or the cash, its been sitting on my drive. Well today i finally sold her.
I went out this morning to start her, to check her over for the new owner, only for her not to start as the battery was completely dead. I just tried jumping it using my work van, it turns over, but just cant quite get there. I thought maybe where its be standing, the plugs might be a tad damp etc, so i dried then out with so kitchen towel and wd40, still no luck, iv been told by a neighbour to try some wd in the dizzy cap, could that work(i dont think it would) but it was only an idea. Anything you lads could suggest?
Cheers
Jimmy
PS - My neighbour also said that the car might have something called 'cold start valves' and these could be sticking!?!
