if you smell petrol and its cranking quick enough check the spark, if its there then chances are its flooded.

On the left looking from the front (drivers side) the injector loom has a plug connector, unplug it and crank with the throttle full open. It shoudl stutter and run for a bit then die, crank it a few more times to clear it out, reconnect the injectors and it should start up.

This is common especially on cars with poor batteries
