I just want to make it clear that the car has a gearbox problem and it might not have been clear enough on the piston heads website, I am not trying to mislead people, the main heading - 16v,
gearbox prob - coilovers, 17s, full respray (1991). Maybe I should have made it more clear.
I am not sure entirely what the problem is, I did phone up a gearbox specialist and he said it could have 'jumped' a surclip (sp), it was making a weird noise, and I think it didn't go into or kept jumping out of 3rd. I never got to take the car to the specialist though, as my circumstances changed very soon afterwards.
again, I am sorry for not making the problem more clear, and I hope I haven't misrepresented the car. This is the first time I am selling a car, so I'm bound to make a mistake somewhere along the line! Although that is no excuse!
