Well, I took the car for its MOT this morning and it failed.
Brake discs were rusty as fook (brand new less than a year/5000 miles ago) from being stood so long. Drove the car across the country to Clevedon and I reckon that might have been enough to clear them properly. I'll whip the wheels off on Monday evening and have a look. Otherwise, it's new discs time. Hopefully I can get that done and retested by the weekend.
Also failed on obstruction in the windscreen (magic tree hanging from the rear view mirror)
And headlight aim was off on one side.
Advisory on coil springs corroded (again new less than a year ago), I suppose that's what you get for parking a car in a garage for 5 months.
Another advisory was slight play in steering rack which again was new (well, recon anyway)
Guessing I'll find loads of other stuff rusty as shite now when I have a look.
