you could have a bent alloy.. that's been seen often.. and chris is absolutely correct about the offset, it is indeed 36mm...

even though the wheel bolts center the wheel, i find it much easier to work with wheels with the correct PCD, either via an OEM ring inserted into the alloy (OZ use that, for instance), or the plastic centering rings for other alloys with no ring insert...
