if th 19 is anything like the 5, you will prob find its more to do with the car than the cables...

my old 5 used to eat clutch cables, previous owner had a fair few, had a new one on it when i got it, and started to snap usually about 2-4 months apart, whether they were renault, ECP, gsf etc, to the point where i always carried a spare and could change one at the side of the road in a few minutes!

my new one i've had for 3 years, and not done a clutch cable to date.

how many people have changed the pedal quadrant, as if i remember correctly renault did a 'white' version that was revised to try and save the cable for a bit longer..

my ECP one in the 19 is going strong still, fitted it the same time as a genuine 'white quadrant' pedal
