I had friday off to fit my powdercoated subframe to the rsi.
Didn't go well...track rod end bolt was rounded and seized. Was about to chop it off with the angle grinder then thought i'd better check the other bolts i'd be messing with first - every one rounded/seized/disintegrated with corrosion! That hacked me off so much i stuck it on ebay to get rid...ends in a few hours actually at which point i'll breathe a sigh of relief.
Earlier on in the week i also picked up a new bike;
125cc powerhouse for 300quid with a years MOT/tax which is a pretty good deal IMO.
I spent saturday and sunday messing about with it. Rear brake was binding slightly so have adjusted that - now goes pretty well TBH given its age. Obviously not as quikc as my 900 but more of a laugh on courtry lanes.
Have ridden it into work today too.
