Phase 1 Renault 11 TC

NOTE: THIS IS NOT MINE but i thought you guys might be interested

I've only had this a week or so and although very happy with my purchase it just feels too modern for me so away it must go!
The last owner bought it in 1988, it was maintained by his AA patrolman son and has now hit 75k. It's not mint but it's close and as it was garaged throughout its life there's hardly a mark on it, it's a nice simple TC pov spec 3 door with 4 speed box matched to the seering power of an 1,100cc four pot! There's a tiny bit of treated rust on the osf wing, the door mirror mounts are perished, 3 tiny parking dings, one tiny scrape to the wheel arch, the wheels have been hammerited silver and the top of the rear seat is perishing but not bad.

It has a recent exhaust, the engine starts on the button and runs really well with no smoking, no overheating issues, brakes are excellent and in a straight line as is steering.

I drove it from Gloucester to London and it performed faultlessly, cruising at 80 and when I wasn't looking crept up to 90 easily, there's no untoward noises.

So the tax is up in a couple of weeks but it's only 1,100cc so cheap, the MOT is up in June but I'm confident it'll pass, in fact I will pop a new one on for an extra £45 if you want. I'm not using it at the mo so it even has the best part of half a tank in it! It comes with a spare clutch cable and fan belt and the original handbooks too!

It's not advertised anywhere else but inevitably will be on ebay if there's not interest, so does anyone fancy it? Offers ideally!

Could make an awesome sleeper. Just leave the exterior standard and drop a 1.7 turbo in it!!
