1990 Renault 5 Prima 1.4 auto - MINT
NOTE: Car is a 1.4 not 1.5 (typo)
WARNING You'll read this post and either a) laugh; b) utter expletives; or c) question my sanity at the price I'm asking... (or all three). The car's a time-warp example of a 1990 Renault 5. Just 13,700 miles from new. That's right, 13,700 miles. (It's a 1.4 not 1.5!). Interior and exterior mint - no rust. Full service history - not that there's many services given the mileage. The car's in original condition; inc factory fit sunroof and velour upholstery. Also has alarm and reversing sensors. Taxed and MOT til Dec 07. All tyres good. Original handbook. This car is a museum piece - so could go to a museum if any museum owners are reading this post. PHOTOS IN MY VIRTUAL GARAGE £4,000. Am in no hurry to sell so am happy to bide my time waiting for that interest from an eccentric millionaire... Mark PS Am not mad. Last edited by Mark Leigh; 1st September 2007 at 06:38 AM. Reason: Correct engine size |

A good example of any model will always command a good price and iif someone is looking specifically for this model they'll pay it. Look at the R8 Gordini's.... they're fetching between £12-15k these days for spot on rust free examples!!

most eccentric millionaires would chop there own nuts off rather than pay 4k for a 1990 renault 5 auto, not being rude but i have just got my mother in law a 2005 ford fiesta 1.4 zetec 3 door with 3068 miles on it for £4400 so i think as your 5 is far from being a classic and (its 1990 lol) you will get no more than £900 for it at a push like i said it is not a desirable car in the slightest- there was a mk1 escort 1300 e which is a real classic on ebay a few weeks back with 28000 miles which was mint and sold for £3200
