If Nige has sold this I will be hopping mad. (I don't think he has - yet)

He's selling it for way under its value and the frustrating thing is no-one will take it - is nobody buying 19s at the moment or is it just £200 more than the chavs can afford?

Honestly, if I had the room for this price I would have driven it away.

my chammy's been off the road for 3 years, got through an MOT and all seems well atm, so not quite sure where you're coming from here.

LOL, ouch!

But yeah, im sure more than a few people on here (myself included) have driven cars that have been sitting for a while. My old red phase 1 is the one that sticks out in my mind, sitting for 2 years (had moss growing on it FFS) but drove faultlessly on my way home from buying it. Even my current 19 had been sitting for 6 - 8 months when i went to pick it up. Freed the brakes off and stuck a new battery on it then (after some pre flight checks of course) drove it the 50 miles home no bother.

I mind gettign docs ph2 blue hatch, was sat for about 18 months, nearly burnt out the 800 mile old kia hire cars clutch draging the thing out the drive. Jump started it, i drove it round the block (not slowly) gave it to him to drive the 150 miles to his house.

I have stuck engines that have been left outside for 5 years in and they have started first turn of the key and been fine.

Although on the other hand some sit for 2 weeks and their rings are stuck and need a right good long drive to free them off...
