Peugeot 205 GTI - Retro-Renault

Hi all I have my 205 GTI 1.6 for sale

1990 on a private plate valued at £750. 83000 miles every MOT its had, current mot but and very little tax.

Loads of receipts and history with Toad alarm both keys and remotes.

Always kept in the garage.

Im after another 19 so I'm prepared to do a deal.

exactly that mate.

You can buy 53 plate mondeos for what your asking.

The car is a limited appeal to well hardcore people.,

To the common person its an old bucket that shoudl be in the scrapper so its worthless to 90% of the public.

Sad but true.

Hold out till next year and it'll probably go.

Right now is the worst time to buy cars, we buy them the now to frag em, but tyhe price of scraps come down, a few weeks back £180 quid for a scrap car, now scraps down to 80 quid a ton.

Have to agree with Chris that its a little overpriced mate, especially for a 1.6. Dont get me wrong, 205 GTI's are brilliant cars but unless they are minted low mileage examples or limited edition (like the miami blue) then the 1.6's dont really fetch that kinda money, and even then they struggle would struggle to get to 1300. Maybe advertise it for a grand, take 800, you might get that if you advertise it in the right place and you're not in a hurry.

I would personally say this is a genuine low mileage example and I will probably hold out until next year. It just flew thru an MOT aswell. It would be a shame to pass it on so cheaply its an excellent car. thanks for your input though - its always useful

hold out until the market stabilises again. No one can afford cars etc the now, most can't afford their mortgage payments!
