Useful shipping service - Shiply

Cheap Courier Services - Shiply - UK's Online Transport Marketplace

I've used this a couple of times now, it's a very simple idea that works well.

Sort of an ebay-like tendering system for getting stuff delivered.

For example, you find a car on ebay that doesnt run/isnt legal etc and is 200 miles away. You want to get it transported back to your house.

You list the car on Shiply and companies place bids on your listing of the price they will do the job for. Of course they compete against each other so you then pick the cheapest one or the one that best matches your requirements.

Of course you can use it for anything, not just cars.

Also, an added bonus function of the site:

Some how when you input an ebay listing into shiply it is able to harvest the actual postcode from the listing (which you cant normally see)

There are probably easier ways to do this but if I want to find out the exact location of an item for sale on ebay, I begin the process of listing it on shipley (a cut n paste plus a few clicks) until it shows me the postcode, but stop short of actually submitting it.
