just re-new old and worn part's general health check really, no point doing a conversion just for it to die in a couple of weeks months etc. Not after anything fancy just yet, just want to get the basics right first.

for a decent job? what I'd say is bare minimum, about 500 quid, could then spend up to 2k for a really decent job.

What would £500 involve? obviously new seals fluids belts and make sure it works

head gasket, a basic overhaul, maybe big end shells and valve stem oil seals.
