I used to drive Mk2 Golf GTi's so I'm used to good handling. To be honest, I tend not to push cars that hard anymore anyway (did have it at 130 mph today though, and it was only at about 5000 rpm).

a think a lot of the hardness at the rear is the fact it needs new dampers, still got Renault ones on it so I doubt they have ever been changed, and it's also running 205/40/17's.

The handling on the coupe isn't as good as the 19's, but tbh it wasn't that bad either Chris.

I was half expecting to die once i picked it up after listening to your remarks about how bad it was; however, I was pleasently supprised with how good the car really was.
