They have been selling tappets for ages with no complaints, I though about getting some myself.

They do fit the F7P head as listed. Not sure but I think the 704 refers to the block as opposed to the head? Ah well it's listed anyway and the head is the same.

Have you emailled and asked if they will send internationally? Just because it says not doesnt mean they wont do it if you ask nicely and agree to the extra postage cost.

Perhaps some kind soul on here would buy them for you and send them on.

That must of course refer to sets of 16, that's a whole lot of tappets!

I agree with Neal, message them and ask them, i've done that to ppl on ebay france and ebay germany and they (so far) are always happy to send items internationally at the extra cost even though their auction may state differently.

Ive sent ebay items overseas to places like Hong Kong, even though my auction stated i would only post to UK. Just one of those things you put on the listing without thinking.

Initially I was hesitant to do so for some reason but then I realised - why the hell not? It's no extra effort, just costs a bit more at the post office but if theyre willing to pay the extra, fair enough.

They do sell them cos I'm sure that used to be nearly the 1000 mark.

Did you have them apart and clean them? I have a set I intend to strip down over the weekend, at least get them all springing cleanly. Which could be intersting, I'm going off Chris's tech guide.

Well... no I confess I didn't.

I was in a real hurry at the time so I just wiped them all, operated them in a tub of oil for a few seconds each, and whacked them in. I did all the ones in the megane head, and that took me ages and gave me a sore hand from whacking all the centres out on a block of wood. Didnt fancy doing that again.

A couple of them I removed from the scrap head that Bidderman gave me. That head had been sitting outside under cover for a couple of years. So it's those ones I suspect.
