TB's will get a stock engine to 170bhp, to get that from a stock plenum car needs a lot of work and revs.

thats a decent page, read through it, theres the rolling road 'laws' etc on there. He is accurate in his descriptions.

The volvo 440 box/drivetrain etc.. (JB3) has about a 30-40bhp loss from the flywheel reading. Well thats what I found when I got my old car dynoed but I guess it depends on a number of factors such as tyre size as well?

tyres, tracking, brake drag, bearing condition, box wear, box oil and so on all affect the run down.

I have been on that site before I was looking for ways to get more power out of my old mk2 xr2 years ago surprised its still going.
